ABOUT RAJKUMARS

Rajkumars is the Sunshine Coast's most unique and yet authentic Indian food experience. It is Nambour's first Indian restaurant, and is a family enterprise, operated by Charmaine and Gerard. long-time residents of Nambour, with the invaluable support of kids, cousins, nephews, nieces, siblings and close friends.

What started off as once-a-month banquet style excursion grew in popularity to quickly become a bi-weekly offering. Thanks to the facilities and warm relationship with Hinterland Heart and it's owner Tracey, we have cultivated a growing number of fantastic regular faces. Thank You!!

The standard fare ranges from perennial favorites such as Butter Chicken and Rogan Josh, to items you will not find anywhere else in the world other than in Indian homes.  The ingredients used are the freshest and of the finest quality, and all menu items are painstakingly hand-crafted and offered in generous serves. Even our rice tastes better!

Charmaine and Gerard were born and raised in various parts of India, and as such are able to draw from a range of regional cuisines, blended with family traditions and inventive variations to suit the Australian palette.

We are proud of the fare we offer and the quality and value for money we strive to develop and maintain.

Due to circumstances well beyond our control we currently do not operate a restaurant. We hope to rectify that soon. Meanwhile we do offer catering facilities and also hope to maintain a presence at various markets and festivals. So until we find something permanent, hope to see you around somewhere on the coast.
